Grayden’s story
From being tennis champion Sam Stosur’s junior doubles
partner, to living in a nursing home, it’s no wonder Grayden
feels he’s had two lives. Grayden’s story touches on
both these worlds and shows his remarkable journey
of recovery following his skateboarding accident, and his
dedication to improving the lives of others.

Sarah’s story
When her daughter was just three months old, Sarah
suffered a sudden and massive stroke. Overnight, Sarah
lost so much. Not only had she lost the use of her legs and
her left arm, she also lost the ability to meet the practical
and pressing needs of her newborn baby. Following
rehabilitation, Sarah is today living independently, and every
decision and action she takes is driven by her desire to be
the best mother she can be.

Michelle’s story.

Just three days after celebrating her 19th birthday, Michelle
suffered a near-fatal asthma attack, which resulted in a
severe brain injury. The commitment and determination to
rebuilding her life are a credit to Michelle and her family.
There is no comparison between the full and purposeful
life Michelle leads today and her once-bleak existence in a
nursing home.

Jason’s story.
At 24, when his daughter was four months old, Jason was
attempting to get his motorcycle licence when he noticed
that his balance wasn’t good. A visit to his GP and then a
Neurologist led to a formal diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
Jason tells of how he has met and overcome the obstacles
thrown his way, and how maintaining relationships with his
kids is paramount.
